From social media microcopy to detailed sales pages and stories brimming with lore and complex characters, any format can benefit from clear and sweet storytelling.

A simple formula and a core principle.

You won't find FOMO, agitation, or manipulative tactics here.

Honesty means writing the truth. Copy, content, or fiction, we want to be in the business of delivering quality, not cheap tricks and manipulation.

Benefits and experiences matter most, but features often follow along, depending on the topic.

Clarity means caring about writing, sticking to what matters and always remembering the human.

  • I may ask you an inordinate amount a lot of questions.

Not all people feel they have a lot to discuss about themselves or their business.

Perfectly fine. I promise all questions are relevant for us to write the best copy or story possible.

  • I guarantee virtually-unlimited revisions.

This may be reflected in the quote, but it takes the pressure off renegotiation.

It also means I will not abandon you half-way, and will work until the copy is clear and sweet and ready to face the world.

  • Need editing and rewriting for already-existing copy?

I can do that. We'll discuss this on a case-by-case basis to know what exactly needs fixing or adding up.

  • My writing style is clear and sweet.

Also short and playful, when needed. Not every piece of copy or storytelling needs to be whittled to its simplest components. Sometimes you need that adverb and the extra lore.

Clear means that I stick to the subject.

Sweet means that I season, pepper and spice up the writing where appropriate.

Hemingway (the writer, not the app) was right, of course, but everything in moderation.

  • Research and revisions will be included in the quote.

Copywriting and storytelling may be a simple sweet caption, or a sky-high sales page.

The more complex the copy, the more research we may need. I'll do my best to include everything in the first quote, no hidden fees.

  • The best way for us to work together is with a set sum for an entire project, based on milestones, or adding revenue share.

This liberates us from the tyranny of having to count hours and words, and lets us focus on what matters: your stories.

  • You're working on a game mod or with a non-profit organization?

  • I can write face-melting, toe-curling killer copy.

But honest copy is better than buzzwords and manipulative tricks. At the end of the day, we want to feel we've accomplished something honest and worthwhile.

  • My speling spelling and grammer grammar are crystal clear.

I know the English language quite intimately. We go way back. I'll make the occasional spelling mistake, but you won't see it, because I weed out the weeds before delivering the work.
Oh, and everything has spell-check these days.

  • I don't use AI for writing.

Nothing wrong with an inspirational pick-me-up, but depending on AI too much can make one complacent.

More so, AI tends to give formulaic answers, which makes copy sound plagiarized and generic. And Fiverr already exists.

  • What's the point of it all?

The point is to do good work and build healthy relationships.

We tell stories because we hope to glean some wisdom, regardless of medium: copy, content, fiction.
A picture is worth a thousand words but good writing can spark the imagination and inspire people.
